You'll soon see just how stubborn I can be✨

Happy reading 🌷 🌸

Shakti was walking ahead while Mannat quietly followed behind him. As they walked through the corridor, they stopped in front of a large glass door.

On the gate, "CEO Aksh Singh Rajput" was written.

The moment Mannat read the name, an uneasy feeling settled in her heart.

Shakti knocked on the door, and from inside came a firm, commanding voice,

"Come in!"

Shakti opened the door and gestured for Mannat to go inside. Like an obedient little girl, Mannat stepped into the room.

Shakti entered the room behind her and quietly closed the door.

Both of them looked toward the large chair in front of them. A man was sitting there with his back facing them.

Shakti stepped forward and said,

“Sir, Miss has arrived.”

A sly smile appeared on Aksh’s face. He stroked his beard in a peculiar way and said in his deep, commanding voice,

“Tell her I won’t accept silence.”

Aksh’s voice was incredibly deep and captivating. The girl became frightened just by hearing it. All she wanted was to run away and return home.

Shakti looked at her and said,

“Miss, please step forward and say whatever you have to. Sir doesn’t have much time.”

The girl put on an innocent expression and looked at Shakti hopefully.

Shakti’s heart softened. He walked closer and gently whispered,

“Please don’t make him angry. Tell him what you have to say quickly and leave.”

The girl asked,

“But… what am I supposed to say?”

Shakti looked at her in disbelief.

“Do I have to tell you that too?”

She replied helplessly,

“I honestly don’t know anything. They forced me to come here. Please help me talk to him.”

Aksh had very sharp hearing. He had been listening to their whispering all along. His patience finally ran out.

He abruptly stood up and shouted,

“I don’t have endless time! Say whatever you came here to say, quickly! Otherwise, Shakti, bury her in that piece of land.” 😡

The moment Aksh said that, the girl panicked and hurriedly blurted out,

“No, no! Please don’t do that! That land is very valuable. At least allow us to complete our practicals there!”

Mannat’s sweet, melodious voice instantly melted Aksh’s anger. A devilish smile appeared on his face.

Mannat looked at Shakti and asked through gestures whether she was telling the truth. Shakti nodded in agreement.

Feeling relieved, Mannat looked at Aksh’s back and softly called,

“Mr…”

She then noticed the nameplate on his desk and remembered that the same name was written outside as well. Taking a deep breath, she politely said,

“Mr. Rajput Ji… Please allow us to do practical work on that land. You know we’ve been working there for a long time, and the area is also very close to my home. That’s why I don’t even feel scared while travelling there. If we have to shift somewhere else and the new place is far away, just think about it… Am I saying anything wrong?”

Seeing Mannat’s innocence, Shakti was surprised. He wondered how girls nowadays were usually so clever, yet this girl was as innocent as a flower.

A gentle smile appeared on Aksh’s face, though he himself didn’t realize it. He silently looked outside the glass window at the city while listening to every innocent word spoken by the girl standing behind him.

After speaking, Mannat looked at Aksh, but he remained silent, standing with his back towards her.

She looked at Shakti questioningly, but he didn’t say anything.

Disappointed, Mannat said,

“I guess you didn’t like my proposal… It’s okay. I’ll leave.”

The moment those words reached Aksh’s ears, they struck his heart like a spear. He clenched his fist tightly and shouted,

“Don’t move!” 😡

Mannat froze in fear.

Aksh turned around. First, he signaled Shakti to leave the cabin. Shakti immediately walked out.

Now only Aksh and Mannat were inside the large cabin.

Aksh slowly looked at Mannat from head to toe with his strange gaze. She wasn’t very thin; her figure was slightly healthy, and her cheeks were adorably round.

A mischievous smile appeared on Aksh’s face as he slowly walked toward her.

The sound of his shoes made Mannat nervous. She kept staring at the floor until she noticed a pair of black polished shoes stopping right in front of her.

Aksh stood directly before her and looked at her intensely.

In his deep, attractive voice, he said,

“Once a butterfly enters a lion’s den… it can never leave again.”

Mannat was confused by his strange words.

Seeing her puzzled expression, Aksh asked,

“Did you do something wrong?”

Mannat shook her head.

Aksh smiled and said,

“Then look at me… Let me also see how this innocent butterfly is being locked forever inside a lion’s den.” 😈

His words completely went over Mannat’s head. She couldn’t understand what he meant.

Since she still wasn’t looking up, Aksh became irritated and said coldly,

“I told you… look up!” 😠

Gathering courage, Mannat slowly raised her head.

The moment she did, her eyes met Aksh’s. He looked incredibly handsome. Pride and confidence reflected clearly on his face.

As their eyes locked, an unusual spark and intensity filled the atmosphere.

Looking at Mannat’s beautiful face, Aksh felt himself losing control.

Unable to stop staring, he murmured,

“How can someone be this beautiful…?” 🔥

Mannat looked at him innocently.

Hearing his compliment, she felt shy. A faint blush spread across her cheeks, and despite trying not to, a soft smile appeared on her lips.

Seeing her smile, Aksh almost lost his mind. His feet moved toward her on their own.

Mannat became frightened and instinctively covered her face with both hands.

A devilish smile appeared on Aksh’s face. He gently held both her hands and slowly removed them from her face.

It was the first time he had touched an unfamiliar girl, and strangely… it felt wonderful.

Closing his eyes briefly, he thought,

"Finally… now I have to make her mine. I won’t let her go anywhere.” 🔥

He opened his eyes and stared at Mannat intensely.

Terrified by his gaze, she softly called,

“Papa!”

A wide devilish smile spread across Aksh’s face.

In an oddly possessive tone, he said,

“Not Papa… Aksh Singh Rajput . From now on, only this name should be on your lips—while sleeping, waking, sitting, or doing anything. Only Aksh Singh Rajput … no one else. Understood, innocent girl?” 😈

Hearing him, Mannat felt an unfamiliar fear. She wanted to leave that place at any cost, but Aksh was still holding both of her hands tightly.

Mannat, feeling restless, pulled her hand away from his grip and stared at him. Gathering a little courage, she said, "Mr. Rajput, that land ...... practical ...."

Aksh : " Permission granted👍."

As soon as she finished speaking, Aksh stepped closer to her and, in a dangerously calm voice, said,

"Because in return, today I have gained a priceless treasure... a treasure that has walked right into my hands on its own. And now, it belongs to me."

Mannat couldn't understand what he meant. She looked at him in confusion.

He gently placed his hand on her forehead and said softly, "There's no need to strain your mind over it. You'll understand everything when the time comes."

Mannat looked at him in surprise. She wanted to say something more, but the intensity in his eyes terrified her.

He lightly patted her head and said in a devilishly playful tone, "Now go, kid."

The moment she heard that, she felt as if life had returned to her. Without stopping for even a second, she rushed out of his cabin at the speed of the Rajasthan Express.

Aksh kept staring at her like a man completely possessed. The condition of his heart was something he couldn't tell anyone, because accepting those feelings was still incredibly difficult for him.

With obsessive eyes, he continued watching Mannat through the glass door as she ran away like an innocent little girl.

"What a different... and beautiful girl she is," he thought.

Just looking at her had thrown his heart into complete chaos.

He rubbed his face with both hands, then muttered in a frightening voice,

"It's your good luck that you agreed so easily and peacefully. But you'll soon see what I'm really like."
