Chapter 1 (Innocent Mannat)

In love, even the finest people lose their senses and passion. When the fire of love ignites, even the most dangerous and proud individuals forget their arrogance and status, and start flowing in the river of love. But when that love turns into obsession, the person puts in every impossible effort with full intensity to attain their beloved. For them, no boundary or limit remains unbreakable — they become restless to cross any line.

This is exactly the kind of story I am about to present to you.

"The story will begin in the large city of Udaipur in Rajasthan. Rajasthan is the land of Rajputs, and the honor and grandeur here are truly magnificent and beautiful."

"This is the land of kings and emperors, and upon this soil, I am about to write a new and intensely passionate love story. In this story, a man's deep passion for his beloved will be portrayed — he will love her secretly, but love, after all, can't stay hidden forever. Sooner or later, it will come out into the open. Now, let's begin the story together."

Udaipur, the city of lakes, is a very attractive and beautiful city where the tale of passionate love will begin. Rajasthan is a developed region, home to great businessmen whose businesses extend overseas, and through their enterprises, they are influencing and controlling the entire country."

"In the prosperous city of Udaipur, there was an affluent society located right in the heart of the city, surrounded by lush greenery. In that society stood a large house named Rao House.

In one of its rooms, a woman, around 45 years old, stood before a mirror, admiring herself and smiling softly. Watching her smile, her husband, who was sitting on the bed working on something important, couldn't help but glance at her again and again, smiling to himself as well."

"He took off his glasses and placed them on the nearby table, then said, 'That's it, my Sona—everyone agrees that you're the most beautiful of all. Just a little less than my Mannat.'"

The woman turned toward her husband and said, 'Haha, of course—how can a wife compare to a daughter in your eyes now?'"

The man stood up from his seat and walked over to his wife. Gently, he stroked her cheek and said with deep affection, "There's no doubt that my Mannat is the most beautiful girl in the world—she's my life, my daughter."

The woman smiled, a touch of pride in her expression. "Of course she is. After all, who gave birth to her?"

He chuckled softly, "Yes, you gave birth to her—and she's a part of me too. I received my Mannat after many heartfelt prayers and wishes."

The woman looked thoughtful, her voice tender. "Manav ji, our daughter is the sweetest child in the world. Now, if only she finds the best person for her, my heart will finally be at peace."

Manav held her hand gently. "Don't worry, Sona. Someone is surely written in her fate—a man who will love her more than anything in this world, who will stand up for her, fight for her, and love her with all his heart."

Sona nodded, her eyes glistening. "Yes, only such a husband is worthy of my Mannat. Otherwise... these boys today—so full of pride, and their tempers... oh God, don't even get me started!"

They both smiled, united in their love and hope for their daughter's future.

---

Manav smiled as he looked into Sona's eyes. "And our Mannat—she barely ever gets angry. And even if she does, it disappears in a moment. She's so calm and gentle... she deserves someone just like her. A boy with the same peaceful nature, someone who can truly understand and care for our delicate little girl."

Sona's eyes softened with emotion. "Yes... someone who can handle her with the same love and patience we've raised her with. Someone who sees her not just as a wife, but as our precious Mannat."

A soft smile spread across Manav's face. He pulled his wife into a warm embrace.

And this... is the beginning of the story of the heroine's parents.

The father's name—Manav Rao,

The mother's name—Sonali Rao, lovingly called Sona by her husband.

Manav gently pulled away from the embrace, looking at Sonali with a playful smile. "Chalo, Sona ab... now let's have dinner, or else your sahabzada will start speaking up soon."

Sonali laughed, her eyes sparkling with affection. "Ha ha, chaliye."

They both headed toward the dining table, the quiet warmth of their shared life echoing in every small moment. Their love for each other—and for their Mannat—was the foundation of the peaceful world they had built.

---

Manav and Sonali stepped out of their room and into the hall, only to see a young man sitting on the sofa with a serious expression on his face. He was focused on his laptop, typing away as if lost in his work.

Manav walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Mihir, chalo, ab dinner kar lete hain."

Mihir glanced up from his laptop, his face softening at the sight of his father. "Yes, Papa. I'll be right there."

Sonali smiled at the scene, watching her husband and their son, both engrossed in their own world but always connected by their love and care. They were a family that balanced work and warmth in the most beautiful way.

Mihir raised an eyebrow, a playful hint of concern in his voice. "Aap itni der se kyu aaye? Dekho, raat ke 9 bajne wale hain. Waqt se khana khana sehat ke liye acha rehta hai."

Manav chuckled, ruffling Mihir's hair. "Haan beta, humne socha tumhare jaise itne responsible ladke ko dekh ke dinner time ka dhyaan rakhein."

Sonali joined in, teasing, "Mihir, you're the perfect son. Always looking out for us!"

Mihir smiled, clearly pleased with the playful banter, but his eyes held a hint of affection for both his parents. "Bas, chaliye dinner karte hain, tabhi toh sabki sehat ka dhyaan rahega."

---

Both father and son smiled at each other as they made their way to the dining table and took their respective seats. Just as they settled in, the maid came in and began to serve dinner.

Mihir, looking up from his plate, turned to Manav with a thoughtful expression. "Papa, Mannat ko ab bula lo."

Manav nodded, his face softening with affection. "Haan, beta, ab to dhua bhi gayab ho gaya hai, bula lo use."

With that, Mihir stood up from his seat and walked toward the stairs. He made his way up, pausing in front of a door. He knocked lightly on it.

From inside, a sweet, melodious, and incredibly beautiful voice responded, "Aajaiye Bhaiyaa!"

Mihir opened the door and walked straight in. He saw a girl wearing a beautiful red long gown. Her long brown hair was open, flowing down to her waist, and she was standing near the window of the room, gazing at the moon. The gentle breeze made her hair sway softly, and she stood there silently, absorbing everything around her.

Mihir walked up to her, placed his hand on her shoulder, and said, "Choti, come now. The smoke has cleared. Come eat your dinner."

The girl who was looking at the moon began to smile. Her smile was so lovely and beautiful that anyone who saw her could fall in love and be willing to do anything to win her.

She looked as delicate as a glass doll—if she laughed too hard, the petals of her cheeks and nose might turn red.

Because of her smile, dimples appeared on her cheeks, making her look even more beautiful.

Seeing her smile, Mihir said:

What's the matter, Choti? Why is there such a lovely smile on your face?"

The girl suddenly turned toward her brother and started looking at him. Mihir also began to look at her. Then, in her sweet voice, the girl said:

"Bhaiya! Is it necessary to have a reason every time one smiles?"

"Sometimes, one should smile just like that... it's good for health. Isn't it, Dr. Sahab?"

Mihir smiled too and said:

"You're right, Choti. Now come, let's have dinner—everyone's waiting for you."

As Mihir began to leave, the girl suddenly stopped. Mihir turned back and asked:

What happened, Choti? Why did you stop?"

The girl lovingly looked at her brother and stood silently, lost in thought. Mihir stared at her curiously. Then, the girl smiled with innocence and said:

"When are you bringing my bhabhi (sister-in-law home)?" (with a teasing tone)

The smile faded from Mihir's face, and in a slightly teasing tone, he said:

"First, let Manat Manav Rao get married. Just wait and see."

Manat replied, "But you're four years older than me. Yours should happen first." (with a thoughtful expression)

Mihir said, "Time will tell whose happens first. For now, just come on—or else the food will get cold before everyone even starts!" (with a playful smile)

Both brother and sister started smiling. So, this is Manat—our story's heroine—who is often lovingly called by different nicknames. Manat is the youngest in the house and the most pampered one. She is dearly loved by her parents and elder brother, raised with much affection, and every wish of hers is fulfilled.

Manat has a very calm and innocent nature. She doesn't get angry easily. She is a sweet and beautiful 22-year-old girl. Though her college is long over, she is still doing practicals in her subject of Geography . For this, she sometimes has to go to different fields, but never outside the city—always within the city itself.

Being beautiful and young, her parents always remain concerned about her, and so she isn't allowed to go to other cities. Fortunately, their city, Udaipur, has all the world-class technical and other facilities, so there's no need to go out anyway.

Due to some bad experiences with boys from her society and college, she had grown a little fearful. But her brother encouraged her and helped her become strong. Still, if any boy stared at her, she would become as shy and delicate as a flower.

Manat's elder brother, Mihir Rao, is a renowned doctor, famous among the top doctors of India. He is 26 years old and, though calm by nature, sometimes his anger can be intense.

Manat and Mihir came downstairs to the hall together and walked over to the dining table. Seeing Manat, Mr. Manav smiled and said:

There comes my Roohi ( Mannat) !"

Mannat : Yes, Papa! I knew you'd come; now the smoke has cleared.

Sonali ji: You both hurry and eat your dinner and go to sleep. Roohi has to leave for the field tomorrow. Mihir will drop her off.

Mihir: She'll go by herself — by cab!

Manat's smile suddenly vanished from her face, and nervously she said:

Manat: Brother! No! I won't go alone...

Mihir: You're 22 years old now, yet you're still scared? That's wrong, Roohi! You need to be brave. Your brother won't be around everywhere!

Sonali ji: If not a brother, then a husband will be there to care for her lovingly and won't leave her alone for even a moment. (winks)

Manat: Mom! Is it necessary to talk about all this all the time? Already a husband? Who knows where he is or in which corner... yet you keep imagining a husband for me!

Sonali – It will happen here somewhere, now he just needs to appear. The rest will also come soon. This is a true prayer of a mother.

Mihir – I'm afraid that if she ends up with someone of an opposite nature, then they’re doomed!

Manav – My daughter needs someone with a calm nature just like hers. If she gets such a partner, she’ll blossom like a delicate flower. Just wait and see, both of you.

Sonali  – Oh God, give my daughter a husband who is as calm-natured as she is. Otherwise, what will happen to this innocent girl?

Hearing all this, Manat's heart was filled with anxiety. She was scared. She kept wondering what kind of husband she would get—would he treat her well or not? What if he got angry at her for something? How would she, so innocent, handle it? Where would she go? That fear haunted her constantly. That’s why she stayed quiet, because she had never been scolded; everyone always treated her with love.

Manav ji – Now forget all this talk and eat your dinner, then go to sleep!

After hearing Manav ji, everyone began eating. After a while, Mihir and Mannat went to their rooms. Sonali ji stayed with Manav ji , continuing to talk with her for a while.

Sonali-  Find a really good family for Ruhi, especially a boy with a calm nature who doesn’t get angry at her, otherwise my innocent child will get scared.

---

Manav ji – I will do my best, but the rest will happen as destined. Whatever is written in her fate will happen, and the kind of man written in her destiny, time will reveal that.

Manat’s parents want a completely calm-natured boy for her. But how would they know that someone like a blazing fire has been written in their beloved daughter’s fate? A boy who only knows how to get angry, for whom stubbornness and obsession mean everything, who doesn’t value emotions, whose only purpose in life is his business and maintaining the pride, status, and reputation of his family. Someone who can be cruel to anyone, whose face rarely reflects kindness, who smiles only to show power.

What will happen when this hot-headed and angry man enters the simple life of innocent Manat? How will she survive her whole life with such a ruthless and arrogant man? How will their destinies clash? What kind of storms will their meeting bring?

Unknown Place,

2 o'clock at night

At the time when the world sleeps, that very night, at midnight, a man was being drenched in his own sweat under the pitch-black sky.

But even then, the moonlight was falling directly on a man's tough back and making him appear radiant. So late at night, that man was on the topmost part of a tall building, shirtless, wearing only black pants, and doing push-ups with one hand.

Sweat was dripping from his attractive body and falling to the ground. His face, more intense than his body, made him look fierce with a blend of charm and anger. With his passionate eyes, he stared straight ahead and continued doing more push-ups with one hand.

In his deep, dark eyes, there was only and only passion and determination. It reflected the desire to conquer the entire world, to bring everything under his feet, to make his business the most successful, to achieve every possible goal in the world... That very passion and determination—only time would tell how far it would take him.
